Smart Dunning

Optimize payment recovery with Smart Dunning by configuring customizable profiles to handle failed transactions efficiently.

The Dunning section in Smart Dunning allows you to manage and monitor your payment recovery efforts. It includes two key tabs:

• Dunning Profiles
• Dunning Activity

Dunning Profiles

The Dunning Profiles tab enables you to create, manage, and compare different dunning profiles used for recovering failed payments. You can configure profiles to suit different business needs, whether it's for one-time purchases or recurring payments. The two types of dunning profiles available are:

• Initial Dunning: Used to recover failed payments shortly after the first decline, optimized for a short recovery window.
• Rebill Dunning: Designed to recover failed payments for recurring subscriptions, allowing for multiple retry attempts over a longer period.

This tab provides a tile view to compare the performance of each profile, showing key metrics like total attempts, recovery rates, and recovered revenue.

Dunning Activity

The Dunning Activity tab gives you an overview of all recovery attempts made by your dunning profiles. You can track the recovery status of each session, see the number of retry attempts, and monitor how many payments were successfully recovered.

You can also dive into specific failed payments to get a detailed view of the recovery process, including how many attempts were made and when they occurred, providing insights into the overall success of your recovery efforts.
